1. The service
chainBreed lets recognized issuing organizations anchor breed, pedigree, health, and ownership credentials to the Polygon blockchain, and lets the public verify those credentials. The service includes the issuer dashboard, the public verifier site, the verifier mobile app, and the REST API.
2. Accounts and acceptable use
Issuer accounts must accurately represent the organization issuing credentials. You may not impersonate another organization, etch credentials on behalf of a registry you don't represent, or use the API to mass-mint credentials without a corresponding real-world basis.
You're responsible for the security of your account credentials and for actions taken under them.
3. Subscription and billing
Subscriptions renew automatically at the cadence you select (monthly or annual) and may be cancelled at any time from the dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Pricing is published at chainbreed.pro/pricing and may change with 30 days' notice for existing subscribers.
Refunds within the first 14 days of an initial subscription are offered on request. Annual prepays are pro-rated on cancellation against monthly equivalent pricing.
4. Credential etching
You represent that each credential you etch corresponds to a real-world certification you are authorized to make. chainBreed does not adjudicate the underlying claim — we anchor your certification so it can be independently verified.
On-chain anchors cannot be deleted. Credentials can be marked revoked by the original issuer; the original record remains visible alongside the revocation entry.
5. Continuity
Credentials anchored on Polygon remain independently verifiable even if chainBreed ceases operation. The BreedRegistry contract is permissionless to read; the hash anchors and issuer signatures survive any change in our business status.
6. Warranties and liability
chainBreed is provided "as is" without express warranties beyond the uptime SLA published with your tier. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Witty Inventions Digital, LLC's aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, attempt to compromise the service, or repeatedly etch credentials we have reason to believe are fraudulent.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Wake County, NC.
